Scotty
I spoke to my cousin from Virginia today and I found out that she bought a 1996 Seville and she has a check engine light. I helped her spill the codes and she has these: PC0131 - Heated Oxygen Sensor Circuit Low Voltage, Bank 1, Sensor 1 RF2560 - RKE (RFA) message validation error AC1347 - Very Low Refrigerant in AC SYSTEM The AC code is not a big deal but the other two sound serious. I sent her an email asking her if she had and driveability problems (poor idle, starting problems, etc). Has anyone seen these codes before. Doesn't the RKE have something to do with the keyless entry? Thanks Mike
Ranger
Yeah, RKE (remote keyless entry). O2 sensor probably needs to be replaced.
chazglenn3
When I bought my STS and checked the codes I also had the RF2560. My car did not have either of the keyless entry fobs. I bought both a #1 and a #2 on eBay and programmed them to the car after they came. Haven't had the RF2560 since then, so I assume (I know) the code has something to do with the keyfob programming. If she has the fobs, have her reprogram them and reset the code. Charles Charles
