winterset
Was it OEM? Like i said, there are lots of low quality parts out there. Or if you have a brake hanging, you might be overheating the hub which is a recipe for early hub failure.
Cadillac Jim
I've found that most mechanics call the parts house which automatically selects the lowest price for any given part. This is a problem when it's a flexible brake line, brake disk... or wheel bearing. I suspect that some dealers do that too, particularly with older cars. -- Click Here for CaddyInfo page on "How To" Read Your OBD Codes-- Click Here for my personal page to download my OBD code list as an Excel file, plus other Cadillac data -- See my CaddyInfo car blogs: 2011 CTS-V, 1997 ETC Yes, I was Jims_97_ETC before I changed cars. SevilleDorado
It was an aftermarket part , and probably was picked as "cheapest" , they replaced it, after I opened it up there in front of them tjhere was hardly any grease , we think it was just bad from the get go - as it was only 2 months old.
