KHE
It looks like the steering wheel and column are from a 1977 or 1978 car. Kevin '93 Fleetwood Brougham '05 Deville '04 Deville 2013 Silverado Z71
Texas Jim
One thing that might make this one a little more difficult for some people, it's a six volt system, not 12 Volt.
Cadillac Jim
It really depends on whether you want to keep the six volt system. Usually the starter will work with 12 Volts and you will want new bulbs and such. The real problems are with the motors such as electric wipers, which were rare with 6 volt systems, heater fan motors (A/C was rare with 6 volt systems), and radios. You can get voltage droppers for the radio, or just swap out some of the parts inside (tubes, vibrator, power transformer) or even put in a transistor radio chassis while keeping the exterior parts of the radio. If you want a show car, you must deal with 6 volts with anything from 1954 or older. -- Click Here for CaddyInfo page on "How To" Read Your OBD Codes-- Click Here for my personal page to download my OBD code list as an Excel file, plus other Cadillac data -- See my CaddyInfo car blogs: 2011 CTS-V, 1997 ETC Yes, I was Jims_97_ETC before I changed cars.
