As with any car budget for ongoing maintenance and repairs, but this would be a fun weekend car. What do you think? Well priced or pass? KHE
The Craigslist ad says Clinton Township, MI, yet it's in the Dallas Craigslist??? I think the price is decent if the car is in as good of shape as the pictures show - it is a beautiful car. Cadillac Jim
If it's in Michigan now, I would be suspicious of its history, but even if it has spent a few years in Michigan, it probably wasn't driven in the snow. But, you never really know. The CarFAX or dealer VIN search might turn something up, or it might miss something. As for the price, I would have to defer to someone who is more knowledgeable about pricing vintage cars. I will say that nearly $16K seems high for any daily driver car that is 41 years old, no matter how nice it is, if it's a daily driver or summer weekend car and not a show car. But it's not a bad asking price for a convertible in excellent condition. For this one, it's going to be supply vs. demand that sets the price. -- Click Here for CaddyInfo page on "How To" Read Your OBD Codes-- Click Here for my personal page to download my OBD code list as an Excel file, plus other Cadillac data -- See my CaddyInfo car blogs: 2011 CTS-V, 1997 ETC Yes, I was Jims_97_ETC before I changed cars.
