Göran W
Will part no 25656446 and 25656447 work as well as original no 25656444 and 25656445? The former are listed for Seville.

rockfangd
I dont remember the numbers off hand but for the most part it goes 96-97 devil Deville, seville, eldo, and catera (to 2001) 98-99 deville, seville, eldo 2000-02 deville, seville, eldo. To my knowledge there is only one remote number for each remote available after the 96-97 remotes. other remotes, although may look identical have different internals. I hope this helps. I cannot find the exact list at the moment but I have a list that covers numbers and applications. Göran W
Got the remote in mail today. Unfortunatly it seems to require more programming. Eldorado after 1997 does not have the complete tool in DIC???? Will that be possible with anything less than Tech II?
Cadillac Jim
I would poke around in the car's computer and see if the hooks for the fob programming are still there. I found that my wife's 1999 Grand Am could not program the fob without a scan tool because it didn't have a touch-screen radio, which Pontiac uses for computer access. But, I found that any good locksmith will have a special scan tool for programming fobs and the charge is about the same as the charge for re-keying a lock. -- Click Here for CaddyInfo page on "How To" Read Your OBD Codes-- Click Here for my personal page to download my OBD code list as an Excel file, plus other Cadillac data -- See my CaddyInfo car blogs: 2011 CTS-V, 1997 ETC Yes, I was Jims_97_ETC before I changed cars.
