Rushblaster
I live in Michigan, and the winter roads over here aren't necessarily nice. I hit a number of potholes in a row yesterday, and the car went bouncing up in the air multiple times, and as I went on to drive I noticed a harsh noise coming from the back drivers side of my car. Whenever I hit a small bump the noise is heard. When I'm out of the car and I push on the trunk up and down, the noise is heard, too. Also I noticed a small rattling noise seemingly coming from under the middle of my car as I'm driving. That happens when I hit small bumps too. Very small bumps. Anyways, I have no clue what the issue could be. Does anyone have any tips?
Bruce Nunnally
I suspect an anti-roll bar bracket has broken allowing the bar to rattle about a bit, but it would be good to have the DHS over to your local mechanic to have a look. KHE
It is really difficult to diagnose noises like this via the internet. You need to get the car on ramps or a lift and inspect the suspension components.
