Power Vehicle Dependability Study. The study rates vehicle problems experienced during the past 12 months by original owners of 3-year-old, or 2011 model year, vehicles. Escalade received the highest dependability award in the Large Premium CUV segment. Cadillacs prior large sedan, called DTS, ranked highest in a tie in the Large Premium Car segment. Excellent quality and lasting value are central expectations for luxury consumers, said Uwe Ellinghaus, chief marketing officer, Global Cadillac. This is a focus as we continue the ongoing elevation of the Cadillac brand. Cadillac improved significantly in the study, overtaking 11 brands to rank third industrywide. Escalade moves to its next-generation this spring with an all-new 2015 model.
