Bruce Nunnally Posted January 21, 2014 Report Share Posted January 21, 2014 I have a squeaking coming from my power steering pump on my 2001 caddilac deville.It dosent seem to have a leek. Do I need to change the pump or what. Got this as a note on the Blog -- any suggestions? KHE Posted January 22, 2014 Report Share Posted January 22, 2014 Is it a squeak or a whine? A squeak/squeal would point to a belt. A whine would indicate there is air in the system from a leak somewhere. Unless the all the lines have been inspected, a leak can't be ruled out.
