jorge
I have a 1994 SLS and the on-board computer display says, "Traction Disabled". How do I fix this problem. The car drives fine, but I hate looking at that message. Thanks!
KHE
Enter diagnostics and retrieve the trouble codes. Simultaneously press and hold the OFF and WARMER buttons (or the OFF and PASSENGER WARMER) on the climate control panel. The codes will be displayed on the information center. petrov
Is the ABS light on as well?? Some vehicles come with a manual button to turn the traction control on or off...but I don't know if this is an option on your car. My car had the same issue but it triggered a code which helped me to determine that it was a wheel hub and bearing problem. Once the hub/bearing assembly was replaced the issue was cleared. You need to check for wheel sensor codes and verify the wheel hubs and bearing on the front are fine.

chuckgann
Jorge, have you recently worked on your breaks or had the tires off for any reason? Every time, and I do mean every time I change my rear break pads I manage to partially unplug one of the sesnors on the rear wheels and I get this message. To be sure pull off the rear tires and make sure the plug is snuggly snapped together.
