waterzap
I had a 76 Seville. There are a few issues you have to look at. Join the Cadillac club, there are other members that have Sevilles. My guess is one of the two temp sensors, or the MAP sensor in the ECU

Cadillac Jim
This is a digital fuel injection engine. It has a PCM and may have trouble codes. If they do exists, they will be read by counting flashes of the "Check Engine" light when you short two specific pins of the ALDL connector together. An old Chilton or Haynes that covers 1977 GM products will have the procedure. -- Click Here for CaddyInfo page on "How To" Read Your OBD Codes-- Click Here for my personal page to download my OBD code list as an Excel file, plus other Cadillac data -- See my CaddyInfo car blogs: 2011 CTS-V, 1997 ETC Yes, I was Jims_97_ETC before I changed cars. Logan
The 1977 was years before the traditional GM ALDL style connector that came along in 1981. So no flashing SES lamp by jumping pins on the ALDL. It may....have a earlier GM style diagnostic connector...no idea how these are set up. They are mounted on the fender. See picture.. I suppose not. I browsed your links. Between the troubleshooting charts and the analyzer, the two of them approaches having an FSM and a Tech II for DIY work. The troubleshooting chart seems to say that the probably cause of stalling while running and not restarting immediately is a crank or cam sensor, or electrical connections, particularly to the fuel pump.
