JimD
Does anyone know what turns on the trunk light when it opens. I can't find any switches anywhere. Driving me crazy groping around in the dark Thanks RW The lamp circuit is switched by the trunk release solenoid mechanism. If the bulb checks out with an ohmmeter, I have no idea what to suggest since the remainder of the lighting circuit involves a relay and a fuse which provide power for a number of interior lights. If I still had my Seville, I would see what difference it makes if you open the trunk electrically versus opening the trunk with the key. Maybe none? Jim Drive your car. Use your cell phone. rockfangd
I believe the switch is up in the lid by the latch. Bear in mind this is what my 96 and 97 has and both are equipped with auto pulldown which I dont know if your year had.
