Bruce Nunnally Posted October 2, 2013 Report Share Posted October 2, 2013 DETROIT – William F. Peffer Jr. (Bill) is joining Cadillac as the brand’s U.S. Vice President of Sales and Service. He will report to Bob Ferguson, senior vice president of Global Cadillac. “Bill has a tremendous passion for the automotive industry and a proven track record in achieving outstanding results,” said Ferguson. “The addition of Bill to our team will help continue Cadillac’s product-driven growth and extend our tradition for delivering great sales and service experiences.” In his role at Cadillac, Peffer will be chiefly responsible for the brand’s sales and service programs, including leadership of the U.S. regional sales and service staffs, coordination with Cadillac’s U.S. dealers and overall management of the brand’s customer experience. Peffer, 43, comes to Cadillac from Nissan, where he most recently served as managing director and CEO of Nissan Australia. He has more than 20 years of automotive experience. Peffer is relocating from Melbourne to Detroit. Peffer has worked for Nissan since 2006, serving in several capacities with increasing responsibility in sales, marketing, retail operations and dealer relations. Prior to that, he worked for Ford for 13 years in key sales and operational roles working with U.S. dealers. Peffer has an MBA from Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business and a Bachelor’s of Arts degree in Advertising and Business from Michigan State University. “Bill’s experience and leadership applies directly to the sales, service and customer experience areas that are crucial to our brand as we grow,” Ferguson said.
