My 6 disc cd changer stopped working and I bought a brand new one for a $100 bucks on replacementradios.com but when I got it all I got was a CDX error. I sent the unit back to them minus a restocking fee. Instead of putting in another cd changer I was wanting to put in an IPOD adapter so that I can play my IPOD Touch in the car and not have to worry about switching out CD's. Any advice on how to do this would be great. Also I was at one sight looking for adapters and they only worked on 2003 cadillac devilles or older. They did not have one listed for 2004 Cadillac Deville. I emailed a couple of different websites and they all say that there is no adapter for my car but Best Buy claims they can install some isimple adapter. Again any advice would be helpful. Also is there any difference from the 2003 Cadillac Deville from the 2004 Cadillac Deville?

I bought and installed an isimple adaptor for my truck. It is an FM modulator that runs in between the antenna and your radio so it blocks the signal from the antenna with a flip of the switch. There is no static at all while playing with the isimple. It only has a gain to adjust volume so it seems a bit quiet to me. I would say its the best alternative we have to do this. I have been planning on getting one for the car bought have yet to get it done. Shop around, lots of different manufacturers make FM modulators.
