jndnaps
I keep getting this code: B2120 - Lumbar Up/Down Sensor Failed On my 97 Seville.. The lumbar up, down, in and out on both seats work fine. Does this mean a problem is likely to occur, or just a bad sensor? I've cleared the code but it keeps coming back.. Anyone know a fix for it or know where the sensor is at? Thanks, John... I searched the archives but didn't find anything on this..
Stan S
I've had the same code (always history) since we bought our 99 Concours 2 years ago. The seats work fine so I just ignore it, just the memory part can't seem to remember where to return the seat for Driver 1 & 2. It's no big deal for me since my wife and I very seldom move the seats anyway. The memory seats also failed to work correctly in the other 3 Caddys I've owned. cetheri
Interesting. My memory seats work properly most of the time, but sometimes I'll click the key fob to unlock the door and the seat back reclines ALL THE WAY BACK! I can simply depress the button on the driver's door that corresponds to the keyfob I carry and the seat returns to normal position - including the lumbar setting. I have been wondering about this behavior, but it's only a minor irritant.
jndnaps
Everything works fine with the seats. Memory keeps it's memory and all.. I guess this isn't something to make the check engine light come on. I'm selling the car and hope the guy buying it won't have a problem with the history code. It doesn't bother me.. But I was thinking of fixing it for him if I could.
