Great to have you here. Recently I went to replace my 40-year-old 3/8" drive torque wrench. The local auto parts store guy asked me where i got my plug wires for my Cadillac and I said the WWW, and without a thought that he couldn't get me OEM quality plug wires for my Cadillac without a special order - which anyone can do from home - he got all ticked off and wanted $275 from me for a part-store torque wrench. Such a tool is OK for occasional use by one guy in his own garage but is not in the same league as any Snap-On torque wrench, and I see one here for $100. I got a cheap one off the web for $35 but I would rather have had the Snap-On at $100.

Dana: I'm not buying right this minute. I did notice that your impressive list in your first post was mostly wrenches, and was wondering about compressing gauges, dial gauges, code readers (hand-held and laptop based), etc. My need for those has been taken care of, but I'm thinking of the future.
