JasonA
Welcome to the board! No flaming here...just some friendly fire every now and then. The Northstar club makes fun of the 4.9 guys for having an OHV engine and the 4.9 club makes fun of the Northstar guys for having to have their fuel rails replaced. It's all in great fun! Enjoy. Scotty
Welcome. Na, don't worry about that at all... You will find this to be a great group with a lot of knowledgable Cadillac lovers on it. Posting questions is great, however you can get very fast answers by searching the archives, I have no doubt that any problem you have has been covered in depth. I am guilty myself of not searching the archives enough, but I enjoy the exchange of ideas with others. Good Luck, the 4.9 engine in your 92 has proven itself to be a great engine. I had a 91 Seville. If you hear a knock when the engine is hot, don't worry its not serious, search Bearing Knock and you will get a lot of information on it. Be sure to use the cooling supplement tablets in the cooling system when you flush it. (see the owners manual and the sticker under the hood regarding the supplement). Do a search under cooling supplement and you will find a lot of information. Mike
