The noise is sort of the noise a power steering unit makes when it low in fluid, a whining

WHen the car was in the air the wheels moved?

Do you feel an initial engagement when you move from N to DRIVE OR REV, sort of a bump?

Does it feel like its slipping?

A whining similar to a power steering whine is a tel tale sign of a failing torque converter. It will usually be louder when cold and then drop a bit when warmed up. This is a big job to replace a TC on a Northstar FWD. It would cost approx $1,500 in California, parts and labor.

Yea like from a cold start up it tries to jerk forward and when both front wheels are off the ground reverse, nuetral both wheels spin forward ... they also still spin forward in D 3 2 1

Ignore the prior post, the fellow replied to a 2012 posting by me, it has nothing to do with the current situation.  @Kingcadillac

Why are my front wheels spinning forward in reverse and nuetral while I got the front end jacked up

The is a good question and I can't answer it

Did you run through the gears in Drive?

Did you move the selector into every position?

Did you check the fuse that blew before Trans IGN3 to see if it blew again?

Be very careful running the car on a lift like this, you can snap axles and do internal damage, NEVER race the engine or hit the brake to STOP wheel motion, slow it easily

If you did, did you check for codes again?   Post all current P and U codes here

This was my list of questions

Did you run through the gears in drive, yes or no

Did you move through every selector position, yes or no

Did you check the Trans IGN3 fuse, yes or no

After THAT, did you check for codes again?

Remember I can't read your mind.  Give details as to what you did.  You said you got a new code reader.

Did it seem to shift through the gears?

I ran through all the gears and in reverse nuetral drive 3 2 1 they all started off slow and when they got goin enough it's like somethin kicked the rpms up to 1 1/2 and stayed there and the wheels got spinnin good . No I didnt check the fuse again.

Please check the fuse.  You appear to be slipping.  It probably kicked into 3rd gear and maybe 1st and second are slipping

Is it whining during this?, does the whine change as it seems to catch?

Hey, what would a hard upshift from 2 to 3 sound like it wasnt a slip or flare juss hard jerk feels like from 2-3 upshift only. Everything else was fine before tranny went out . The whine is there when I start the car and than goes away in reverse than comes back in nuetral or its vise versa dont remeber . And what would shift solenoid valve 1 low voltage be? I replaced both shift solenoids brand new... bad valve body causing this? Maybe something on the accumulator bad? Or maybe bore plug hole?

Where did you get this, is this a code? ^^^  If this came from a code post the code number

You say you changed the shift solenoids.

Answer this 1) What was the exact symptom you were getting that caused you to change the shift solenoids?

2) now that you changed the shift solenoids are the.symptoms EXACTLY the same?

What was the result of checking the Trans IGN3 fuse?

Okay. This was a cpl months ago now I was omw home from work one morning prior to this morning for abt 2 months my 06 dts would shift like normal from 1 to 2 but 2 to 3 it would do a hard slam but if I let off the gas right before the shift it would shift normal.. and i had just left work and my tranny juss up n quit workin so i dropped the pan to see fluid and look at magnet no excessive metals on magnet looked normal. I changed the shift solenoids hopin juss maybe that's what it was I looked at everything I could with lower valve body out I replaced the bonded spacer plate in the lower valve body. At the time I really didnt think anything of the accumulator bein bad so I left that alone. Put valve body back in put pan on fluid. I changed the output shaft speed sensor because on my live data on my obd i was gettin a 0 reading for oss. Didnt really know that bore plugs could get messed up until the other day maybe it's one of those bore holes in the lower valve body. But I tried it again and nothing car wouldnt move . But this whole time my cars been down and I'm juss doin the most tryin to figure out what it is ran obd scanner on it several time nd the very last time which was mayb a week or two ago I got a new code pretty sure it said shift solenoid valve 1 low voltage,  why idk this is still news to me. Now here's the kick brand new battery right I mean brand new fresh somethins takin the volts down I think it was between 11.1 and 11.9 but the volts wont go any lower and those numbers for a brand new battery it juss a red flag. I checked wires, wire harness.  Now I'm in the process of gettin ready to drop tranny and open side case to look at pump and pressure control solenoid . Already got most the under the hood unhooked and hoses off . Theres a whine that comes from the side case and when you go underneath car and look and watch the flexplate spin the whine sounds like it comes from there but those two areas are generally the same if not very close.  I think it may  be somethin in pump . But as to what shift solenoid valve 1 is idk. I love this car to death ain't givin up but man it's got me all over the place. I never thought I'd learn a car inside out

Have you taken the main transmission plug apart, cleaned it with electrical contact cleaner and put it back together?

Remove the TCM plug spray with contact cleaner and reattach

I am still bothered by what blew the TRANS IGN3 fuse.

The low voltage code you got may not have anything to do with the battery but a bad connection some place, that is why I suggest cleaning the plug.

P1842, is 1-2 shift solenoid low voltage

Let me find the information on testing through the plug.  Ill need to go to the library for your year.  You should be able to test the solenoids for power, resistance, etc., among other items.

What is the status of the TRANS IGN3 fuse have you checked it?

Then you know how to test voltages and resistances for all devices and know their parameters?

Again.........what is the status of TRANS IGN3?
