Here is the lower control valve assembly, I assume this is what you are speaking of. This is a 96 manual, the 05 might be different, I don't know of a manifold pressure switch Quote Pre-1995 - DTC codes OBD1 >> 1996 and newer - DTC codes OBD2 >> https://www.obd-codes.com/trouble_codes/gm/obd_codes.htm How to check for codes Caddyinfo How To Technical Archive >> http://www.caddyinfo.com/wordpress/cadillac-how-to-faq/ Cadillac History & Specifications Year by Year http://www.motorera.com/cadillac/index.htm

Ill post the info on the pressure control solenoid. If you disconnect the main plug you can test the resistance of each solenoid. There is an extensive analysis of the pressure control solenoid Quote Pre-1995 - DTC codes OBD1 >> 1996 and newer - DTC codes OBD2 >> https://www.obd-codes.com/trouble_codes/gm/obd_codes.htm How to check for codes Caddyinfo How To Technical Archive >> http://www.caddyinfo.com/wordpress/cadillac-how-to-faq/ Cadillac History & Specifications Year by Year http://www.motorera.com/cadillac/index.htm

Kingcadillac
I dont have a screenshot of that. But I do remember it sayin engine torque and it was negative and when i would give it gas it would go positive but not high at all numbers stayed below 18 when it went positive. Pretty sure it was transaxle

Pretty sure it was transaxle Under normal conditions in snowy conditions, if the front wheels spun, the front brakes would pulse to stop wheel spin, if the brakes couldnt slow the spin, the torque management system would drop cylinders. Does the engine stumble going weakly through the gears on the lift? Do me a big favor and send me the model number of your code reader, I want to know that it can retrieve Body-B, Chassis-C codes. We already established that you have NO Powertrain-P codes. I dont see any leaks. Differential? Loose drive chain ? My gut is this is related to the torque converter or pump. The symptoms for a loss of drive along with a loss of reverse don't converge, unless its related to pump pressure. The problem impacts F and R. I believe you have a transmission control module (TCM) and we need to look into that. Explain the manual shift cable are you sure you have it adjusted correctly?, when it is each gear, can your reader confirm that the manual selection is the actual selection? What made you pull the pins as you said? BodybyFisher
Use felt terminal protectors. These are impregnated with a corrosion inhibitor. They’re fairly popular because they prevent corrosion without the mess of sprays or gels. NAPA has them and they are inexpensive. The system uses about 50 ma of power when it shuts down (door lock signal, remote start signal, alarm) and the battery will go dead over a 2 week period if its not charged by driving, or only driven short distances, especially in the cold months. A trickle battery minder is a good idea, especially since you aren't really driving the car. Kingcadillac
See I thought the shift cable could be adjusted what I didnt know was don't try adjusting it if everything is matching and it dont need to be adjusted. Lol. I believe you're right also it's got to do with the pump or converter it's one of those two whining and luckily I have a brand new secondary pump on deck. Could be broke gear could be broke shaft . Yea I have a tcm and as far I know it works.. I've tested pretty much every wire harness under that hood and on that car multimeter and test light. But some ground connections are stronger than others some light up green as bob Marley rippin one and some are barely noticeable faint green some dont even light up but few. Same with red powers . Kingcadillac
See I had terminal protectors on but some autozone guy was like you get better connection without those I was like bs. Ever since than its like my battery has acted funny. I would like to test my alternator
