STS Scott
Hmmmm.... Do you guys think the "Memory Seat" hardware could be installed? I am assuming, based on my limited electronics knowledge base, that it could be wired up, and then the window switch plate replaced with a 96/97 spec one? Is that possible, are am I only dreaming? KHE
KHE-The Deville did retain the rear only lamp monitors but it was only on the 94-96 models. Max A friend's Dad had a '98 Deville and I seem to remember it having rear lamp monitors. Seems strange that Cadillac would drop that feature in the middle of the production run of that body style. RDWRIOR
Scott, The electronic memory seat module (MSM) that is used in the '96+ models was designed to operate in conjunction with the "Class 2" serial data communication network that connects most of the electronic modules in the vehicle. The Class 2 system was introduced in '96. So, even if you had the memory seat hardware from a '96+ model, there really is no practical way to make it operate in a '95 model like yours, because there is no Class 2 network in your vehicle.
