VERLO
I GOT INTO MY 95 CONCORD AND STARTED THE CAR AND HAD A BURNING SMELL. THA BLOWER MOTOR WAS OUT FOR THE AIR AND HEAT. I HAVE ORDERED A NEW BLOWER MOTOR BUT WAS WONDERING WHAT COULD OF BURNED IN THE CIRCUT. IS THERE A RELAY AND IF SO WHERE IS IT. ALSO THE PLUG THAT GOES INTO THE BLOWER HAS THREE WIRES. WHAT SHOULD THE VOLTAGE BE ON THEM. THE REASON THAT I AM LOOKING FOR HELP IS THAT I WANT TO MAKE SURE THAT THERE IS NOTHING ELSE WRONG WITH THE SUSTEM BEFORE I PLUG IN THIS VERY EXPENSIVE MOTOR. Northstar
Keep your spark plug wires away from the blower motor, they can fry it.
KHE
The blower control module is what burned up. It is integral to the blower motor itself. There is no need to cut the housing or lower the engine cradle to R&R the blower motor as long as the steps outlined in the service manual are followed.
