cadillac_caddy_sts Posted November 22, 2004 Report Share Posted November 22, 2004 There is a very annoying squeking noise that squeeks when the engine is running cold but it gos away after the engine warms up 5 to 10 minutes the car sat for 2 months that might have caused it but how do i make it go away. Ranger Posted November 23, 2004 Report Share Posted November 23, 2004 Your gonna have to find it first. Spray a little belt dressing on both sides of the belt. If it goes away, it will only be temerary but at least you'll know it's the belt. Otherwise look at the belt tensioner or idler bearings. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
