rockfangd Posted March 18, 2012 Report Share Posted March 18, 2012 •DTC P1189 Engine Oil Pressure (EOP) Switch Circuit This code randomly pops up on a 2001 Deville DHS. I came across it pulling RIM codes and have seen it before. Car runs fine other than throwing crank sensor codes sometimes(no surprise). I was thinking maybe the oil pressure sending unit may be sending faulty signal at times. Where is the sensor located on the newer northstar?
