linda80100
Take a gander at my tail light, this is the best my hubby could do to make it "flush", using the mounting screws, but it's still pretty crooked. I'm more "anal" than my hubby so I may get out there and try tightening it further myself...it's bugging me! The trunk is a little crooked too, and we are working on getting that fixed as well as the motorized trunk pull-down which isn't working at all - hoping maybe that will help. Any suggestions on how to straighten this thing that we may be unaware of would be appreciated... http://s1261.photobucket.com/albums/ii596/lindamarie8/My%2093%20Cadillac%20Seville/?action=view¤t=IMG_1328.jpg#!oZZ4QQcurrentZZhttp%3A%2F%2Fs1261.photobucket.com%2Falbums%2Fii596%2Flindamarie8%2FMy%252093%2520Cadillac%2520Seville%2F%3Faction%3Dview%26current%3DIMG_1328.jpg PLUS, check out my new armrest! I'm excited, the old one was cracked and torn so we removed it a while back. It will be nice to have an arm rest once again, and it really improves the interior! See the first 3 pics of my album in Photobucket: http://s1261.photobucket.com/albums/ii596/lindamarie8/My%2093%20Cadillac%20Seville/?action=view¤t=IMG_1328.jpg#!oZZ1QQcurrentZZhttp%3A%2F%2Fs1261.photobucket.com%2Falbums%2Fii596%2Flindamarie8%2FMy%252093%2520Cadillac%2520Seville%2F%3Faction%3Dview%26current%3DIMG_1329.jpg
rockfangd
I like tbe armrest with the cupholders, I just installed the same exact one on my Deville that has a 1993 Seville console installed. One thing to know is that if you bought it used, see if any screws are missing. It seems very common for the 2 philips screws toward the front (cupholders) on either side loosen up and fall out. When I bought mine used I found the screws were out of the lid and one was punctured into the lower console portion. The other screw was down inside the back of the console. Resnugged everything and it works good now GM FAN FOREVER Nice, clean, luxury= fine automobile
linda80100
OK I just now remembered that the tail lights in the middle are attached to the trunk lid. Since my trunk lid is crooked, once we fix that it should be golden. Duh! I actually love the cupholders without the tension spring! I can easily pull them out and pop them back inside the armrest...no resistance. Those screws are probably missing, but since it seems to work fine I guess I'll let it slide. Drove to church today with my right elbow comfortably resting on my new armrest, felt great! It's the little things.

the gold2
Oh yeah, that arm rest looks great ! Why is your trunk lid misaligned? Did you remove it once before? Anyway, maybe the latch on the trunk is not aligned or the stops under the lid (if it has some). Go to the junk yard and find a pull down motor. They also go bad after folks slam shut the trunk as if it had no motorized pull down... Anyway, great enthusiasm !!

We just got this Caddy in November (at an auction - dirt cheap, what a bargain!) so not sure how the trunk got that way. Hubby is currently scouring junk yards ad ebay for a new trunk pull down. He thinks that will straighten it out too. But, I plan to examine it this weekend to see if it's bent hinges or something more simple like what you mentioned. Hubby did get a third brake light that actually WORKS off a junkyard Seville and installed it for me the other day (I'd say he's become just as enthused as me lol). Wow it's pretty dramatic when all lit up! Still nothing like it on any new cars today! I will post pics to my Photobucket album as soon as I can. Also got some bling for her, an SLS badge for the trunk, and a like-new emblem for the trunk lock, as the current emblem is all cracked and scratched. Those will go on after the paint job. Supposed to be sunny and 50's this weekend, so I'm looking forward to a good interior/exterior detailing in the driveway! She's still a little worse for wear, but cleans up pretty good!
