And yes, it is a saftey feature to prevent watching TV on the highway. I don't have a screen in my STS, but I assume you could reprogram the computer on yours to allow you to watch it when ever you want. I just don't know how to do that. ero1220 Posted November 18, 2004 Report Share Posted November 18, 2004 I know that in the 03 STS you are only able to program navigation features or watch DVD's while the car is in "park." I don't believe there are any options to disable this and it is not a simple matter of "reprogramming" the computer. At least in the States, I was under the impression that it was illegal to have a television or DVD player in sight of the driver that functions while the car is in gear or in motion.
