arejaye5000
So I just got my 02 escalade up and running after it sat for 3 years. The service stability light is on and that's my next focus. My mechanic was able to pull a code for it and it said its the Exhaust Solenoid. He wasn't 100% that was entirely the problem because he's not a "Cadillac mechanic" but just went off the code. Has anyone had this code thrown before and/or ever replaced the Exhaust Solenoid? Where is it located? Would that fix the light? As always, thanks in advance guys!

Cadillac Jim
Please ask him for the code itself, and any other codes that may be present. Knowing which are CURRENT and which are HISTORY is also important. -- Click Here for CaddyInfo page on "How To" Read Your OBD Codes-- Click Here for my personal page to download my OBD code list as an Excel file, plus other Cadillac data -- See my CaddyInfo car blogs: 2011 CTS-V, 1997 ETC Yes, I was Jims_97_ETC before I changed cars.
