639398 Posted November 13, 2004 Report Share Posted November 13, 2004 MY `93 ALLANTE HAS A PROCEEDURE YOU HAVE TO GO THRU EVERY TIME YOU DISCONECT THE POWER SOURCE SO, THE CAR`S COMPUTERS CAN REST THESELVES. I CAN`T FIND THIS INFORMATION ABOUT ANY THING THAT HAS TO BE DONE WHEN DISCONECTIONING THE BATTERY ON MY`98 ETC. SAME PROCEEDURE OR NO BIG DEAL ON THE `98 ? eldoman95 Posted November 13, 2004 Report Share Posted November 13, 2004 ive never followed any set "procedure" on my etc. just take the negitive off first. also clean the terminals and the wires that carry the current with a type of detergent if it needs it. how many CCA is the battery your using?
