padron
I have a 03 DHS deville. I am having a problem with my TCC-torque convertor clutch. Has anyone ever changed one and how hard is it to do? I also was told by cadillac that my 3rd clutch gear was worn is this repairable or am i better off replacing the whole trans I'm not sure what I should do the car has 150,000 on her but is still in great shape and don't want to get rid of her! I don't feel any slip or mis when driving so I don't kno how bad it is and how bad can I damange the trans if I keep driving with these problems I'm having? Ranger
To change the TC you'll have to drop the drivetrain and separate the trans from the engine. Are you changing it because of the P0741 code? If so, you can ignore it and just live with it. I occasionally get that code as well. I just clear it and motor on.
