KevinE1
Where is the vehicle speed sensor located on a 1988 deVille? The odometer is digital and sits on (0) when the car is driven. What should I expect to spend on the sensor as well.
KHE
The sensor should be on the transmission. Anyone have a Deville shop manual from 88-95 that they can post the location of the speed sensor? Safari2000
Should be behind the Speedo in the dash cluster.
KHE
Should be behind the Speedo in the dash cluster. The sensor that sends the signal to the cluster is on the transmission. It has to be there to monitor the shaft rotation so the ECM can calculate the vehicle speed.
