cdgrinci
Code 47 pcm-bcm data circuit I don't know about f or ff How did you acquire the letter(s)? I'm only familiar with the shorting of pin 1 and 2 (to acquire OBD 1 codes from check engine light flash sequences). As far as the A/C short cycling; could be low on refrigerant, bad pressure sensor switch or other. PurdueGuy
Wow - Thanks On my 92 deville I depress I believe the warmer and the off buttons at the same time and the car goes into diagnostic mode. Where the fuel gauge is located - the code will show up to three digits it read f...f47 then f47 then 7.0. I tried charging the system. Without cycling the low side reads 50 or so PSI. Ranger
The compressor must be operating to get a pressure reading and to charge the system.
PurdueGuy
Every time I turn on the car, even if the ac is off, the "service air conditioning" light comes on. I don't know if that is because of the stored codes. If I run the AC for more than a minute or two it will blow a fuse in a secondary box located under the passenger side of the dash board. KHE
Check the wiring to the A/C compressor clutch for a short - pay close attention to the connector where a diode is across the terminals. I believe the F47 code is a low refrigerant code for that car. There is likely a leak in the system and the ACM has disabled the compressor to keep it from being damaged.
