JimD
How Do You Take Off The Fuel Filter On a 96 Deville? I'm going to duck your question and ask you several. The fuel filter is not a scheduled service item. Why are you changing the filter? Are you experiencing signs of engine fuel starvation? Jim Drive your car. Use your cell phone. CHOOSE ONE ! Extortion00
i know before buying the car it has sat for a year or so.. so i decided i should replace it.. I've had a brand new one in my trunk i haven't got around to putting on, now i cant figure out how to get the old one off lol
rockfangd
peice of cake. 5 minutes. The filter is forward of the left rear tire. Look at the new filter with its 2 plastic clips. All you do is squeeze the 2 clips on the output side, pull the line off. Pull the filter back and out of the bracket, then remove the input side. then installation is reverse. I just did my 96 Deville. Weirdly enugh it rotted fromm the inside out. Scary thought being I only run premium fuel and Techron treatment.. It took me 5 minutes with the car sitting in the driveway GM FAN FOREVER Nice, clean, luxury= fine automobile
