This link is the one I had to use to get my parts as the GM parts direct site was useless to me. No need for parts numbers and you have a good choice about what you want, many quailties and prices avaialabe. My son got AC DELCO PLUGS and Wires for less than $200 bucks delivered in 2 days. Identical to what I paid over $300 for at the dealer. WORKS FOR ANY TYPE CAR.

The site worked perfect for me! I went nuts over the priced checking parts that I just recently bought at Autozone and GM dealer! I got took! Hey! What can I say, I been trying to get that site to work for years for me. Never a go.

I have had some difficulty getting through on GM Parts Direct also. I have found GM Parts On Line to be easy, dependable and very helpful if you cannot find your part listed.

For GM OEM Parts try http://www.partszoneonline.com/index.php

Rock Auto Parts is also a good choice for many items.

I just ordered my wire kit through gmpartsdirect.com. Although they didn't offer a fast shipping option, the total price was more than reasonable ($117 I think, vs. over $200 at my local dealer including tax). I expect to have it here by this coming Friday I hope. (I ordered it just a few days ago.)

  • 4 years later...

I ordered crankshaft position sensors from http://rockauto.com/, they were AC Delco parts and I was well pleased with the product, price, and shipping. I received them 3 days after the order was placed.

I needed an intake plenum and could not find it on the http://rockauto.com/ site, so I had to order it from http://www.gmpartsdirect.com/. There site is a little awkward to use, and I didn't like the fact that they do not list parts numbers. I also feel their shipping is high. But, I placed my order monday and got an e-mail with a fed-ex tracking number stating it is scheduled to be delivered friday.

I have also used http://www.partstrain.com/ in the past with good results.

Call Brasington Cadillac in Gainesville, Fl. Best prices, bar none, I have seen for Cadillac parts. It's cheaper for me to buy my Cadillac parts from them, pay Florida sales tax and shipping than it is for me to drive 10 minutes down the road to the Tampa Cadillac dealer and get my parts there. Consumables I get from Napa, Advance, Autozone or Rockauto.

Re: Brasington, I found this on the other board:

To whom it may concern: One of CF's well-used online parts dealers, Brasington Cadillac/Oldsmobile of Gainesville, FL, (www.gmotors.com) has closed its doors and is now affiliated with Palm Chevrolet in Gainesville. The parts ordering and website remain essentially the same. The parts people are the same Cadillac personnel as before. (Brasington is one of the GM/Cadillac dealership casualties that needed to consolidate in order to remain in business.)

Hope the service is the same. This was a good supplier.

I've ordered from them since the changeover with the usual pleasant results.

The alternative is only whether the crisis should come sooner as the result of a voluntary abandonment of further credit expansion, or later as a final and total catastrophe of the currency system involved. - Ludwig von Mises

I love rock auto. They have decent prices, fast shipping, and if you have a problem with the order they have really nice customer service reps.

Discount code thread in my signature.

WARNING: I'm a total car newbie, don't be surprised if I ask a stupid question! Just trying to learn.

Cheers!
