Seville STS Parts

Hi There,

Obtaining replacement parts in England is difficult and very expensive!

So, in the age of the internet, I decided I would shop direct in the USA. Parts would be much more readily available and cheaper. However it isn't an entirely straightforward process. I need some advice and guidance if I'm to do this properly.

Where can I obtain original GM part numbers? Is there a website that lists them?

Who are the best suppliers of Cadillac parts?

I need a supplier who will ship to England (and not rip me off).

I want a supplier who will accept payment by Visa or Mastercard.

At the moment I am trying to buy:

1. front and rear Wheel Bearings and Hub Assemblies,

2. an Ambient Temperature Sensor.

If anyone can point me in the right direction, I will be very grateful.

Regards

John

You can send an email to www.gmotors.com requesting a parts quote and asking them about payment and shipping options, I have used them here and they are very reliable and their prices are good.

In terms of scrap/junk yards you can search this on-line data base it has yards all over the country http://car-part.com/index.htm

If you run into problems send me an email and I will try to help you, I had a 4.9 engine shipped to Amsterdam for a Cadillac lover! Cheers! Mike

Wheel bearing/Hub units should be available locally, as SKF and other major bearing companies manufacture these.

I have a SKF bearing assembly on the left front. Picked it up at a local auto parts store. Half the price of the GM unit.

Not sure about the quality, as I have only had it installed for about a year.

I figure it can't be much worse than the GM units as they don't seem to last.
