John Rickett
Hi There, Can anyone please help a perplexed Seville STS owner in England? I have just replaced the brake pads on my STS. The replacement pads do not incorporate Brake Wear Sensors, so I've removed the old sensors and wiring. Everything seems fine. The brakes operate OK. BUT the 'Change Brake Pads' message comes up every time I switch on the ignition. Any ideas how I can clear this permanently? Thanks. John
JimD
At the chassis connector where the pad wear sensors were plugged in, jumper the two pins together and waterproof the connection. John Rickett
Hi Jim, Thanks for the advice. It had crossed my mind that completing the circuit would work, but I feel a lot more confident about doing now. thanks John
