1991 Deville fuel injector info and replacement hints

Recommended Posts

Can't be that easy ...Wow! "how sweet it is" thought I would have at least relearn idle. Any idea on miles per gallon for the Deville after the replacement? Thanks for the info non dealer Caddy repair shops wanted A Grand + to do the job. I figure if I can build my own Street Rods ( old school types, Flatheads and early Chevy small blocks) this should be piece of cake

It's been quite some time since I've had a 4.9, but I think my '92 got about 22-23 (mostly highway).

  • 3 weeks later...

An outfit on ebay sells re-manufactured injectors only... they do have an 8 set for the 4.9 liter engine.

they average about $120 per auction for the set...

my 4.9 gets varied MPG

13/15 mostly City

18/20 mostly hi way...

probly should do better...
