Regis
I figured I'd better start a new topic for these new set of codes I got today. I tailed them onto a previous set of codes I was working on and now getting lost in the shuffle. Here is a copy of the post that I need some help on. Thanks for any input. vvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvv Update! Winter tires and rims on, recleaned (scraped) the EGR canister, and installed a new fuel filter. Start up is better (the tach isn't jumping) and the codes are gone. Hurray! Ok now for the let down. I cleared all the codes and noticed that I have a few new current codes. They are: SO25, SO38, SO72, SO73. Any advice on what could be causing these and what should be done would be appreciated. Thanks again. -kg S025 .................................. JBuckley
I'm not 100% sure, maybe some of the other guys will have more ideas, but those all relate to tride the supension, could you have pulled a wire or crimped one? Seems strange for it to be ok on those codes before you changed the tires. Just my 2cents worth, I think I would just double check the wiring to the supension and leveling system. JasonA
Kger2, is there a suspension module located on the front wall of the trunk area? I wonder if there are fuses in there that are blown...or maybe a short in that box? Jason(2001 STS, White Diamond) "When you turn your car on...does it return the favor?" Regis
John I was thinking that there may have been a pinched wire etc. but haven't been able to locate if there is. But I'll definitely keep looking. Jason, I never even considered the fuse and or fuse box in the trunk. I'll check it out in the morning when I can see better. Thanks for the info guys. I'll report back. -kg "Burns" rubber " I've never considered myself to be all that conservative, but it seems the more liberal some people get the more conservative I become. Regis
Ok, here's the update. I pulled the ELC and SUSP fuse in the trunk and RTD(DAT) and IGN3 in the engine compartment. They looked alright except for having a healthy yellowish coating on them. I scraped off the yellow gunk and put the fuses back in. The S025 code is now gone but the S038, S072, and S073 are still current. If someone has an idea what i should be looking for please feel free to enlighten me. Thanks in advance. -kg "Burns" rubber " I've never considered myself to be all that conservative, but it seems the more liberal some people get the more conservative I become.
