AC Compressor will not turn on

Recommended Posts

Hello

I have an 02 Seville STS and I cannot get the AC Compressor to turn on I have had the coolent filled but it blows hot air. If I trip the relay the compressor turns on and it starts blowing AC. But it will not turn on unless I trip the relay

Any help would be much appreciated

You need to delete the DTC code that the low refrigerant level has set. But do me a favor first, check to see if you have a DTC code set. Go to the bottom of this post, and follow the link to retrieving codes and post your codes here.

You can also find out how to delete the codes at that link. Assuming that you have a low freon code, delete it and the compressor will start

How could he have the refrigerant filled if the code is still present and disabling the compressor?

Ranger, I thought the same thing
