beegolden
Hello, I have a 95 Concours, I have the code p119 which looks like a shorted or stuck open injector, how can I find it? About one year ago I had another bad injector and the dealer charged almost $400 to replace one injector. I tried to unplug one injector at a time to see if i could find the right one but could not so must be open. Also just had the fuel rail replaced about a month ago. Thank you for any help
Ranger
Loosen and raise the fuel rail. Have someone turn the key on to energize the fuel pump and pressirize the fuel system. Do not crank. Look for the leaky injector and replace it.

beegolden
OK , had to his special order the injector from AutoZone, picked it up and put it in and it also flowed fuel, I changed the wires from the the other injector and it still did the same, this leads me to think it is a bad injector, they ordered me one more that will be here in a few days, am I missing anything? Logan
No, thats doesnt make sense... I can offer that you really need a GM injector. The aftermaket ones rarely flow at the same rate. Perhaps up to a 30% different flow rate. Seen it happen. This is ok if all the injectors are replaced....the computer can adjust the pulse rate. But if you change just one....you will have a dead miss. Check out gmpartsdirect.com gmotors.com or rockauto.com for ACDelco parts. An OEM fuel injector should be some $70-$80.
