Has anyone had to replace modules in their caddy? When did they start charging for loaner vehicles?

The drivers door module was replaced on mine about 4 years ago... but I don't remember why.

If it is a warranty repair... and if they need the car for more than 4 hours, there shouldn't be a charge for a loaner car.

I have never been charged for a loaner car at my dealer.

When my car was under warranty, they lent me cars that they thought that I would trade for. They gave me a nice Deville a couple of times, and Escalades when they were just out and the hottest thing on the road, etc.

My dealer, Massey Chevrolet-Cadillac of Downey, CA (recently sold and under another name) used an in-house office of Enterprise Rental Cars as the paperwork vehicle. Enterprise carried the titles and managed the maintenance just like their other rental cars and the dealership simply paid the rental for the customer. It was covered as part of the warranty.
