cadillacjeff7777
How do I disable this darned priority locks feature? What do you mean.... "PRIORITY LOCKS"???? I want this car to unlock ALL locks on first signal on the databus to unlock. I do not want this stupid press once for drivers door and twice for all the rest. In the past I have been able to get around it with the after market alarms but now all this crap interfaces on a data bus. I'm about to pull my hair out! 2008 DTS
Texas Jim
In my opinion...for whatever that may be worth... "IF" it can be done at all...it will have to be hooked up to a TECH 2 at the dealer to be changed. It may be like the stupid EASY EXIT button that can't be re-programmed... cadillacjeff7777
Ok, I am back to my original idea that the alarmm installer could not comprehend. I have removed the door module and disassembled it. The unlock button press is simply an open and close circuit. Easly immitated by a relay. http://s1113.photobucket.com/albums/k517/jgray1978/?action=view¤t=top.jpg In this image you can see where I circle the contact that is closed when the unlock button is pressed. http://s1113.photobucket.com/albums/k517/jgray1978/?action=view¤t=bottom.jpg In this image you can see where the circuit passes through to the back of the circuit board. Can I solder my leads onto those solder joints there? 2008 DTS

cadillacjeff7777
Well, I have 10 year in IT and one of my honed skills was board level repair so I guess that I am not too foreign to it. Gonna go grab the soldering iron now... 2008 DTS
