jalkabre
I have a 1993 STS and I have an issue with the Service Engine light being on. The only 2 codes I have are the T033 (RR wheel speed sensor Continuity) and the S073 (Right Rear Accelerometer). Could these codes be causing the service engine light to come on. I know I need to have new bushing in my rear knuckles, could this be causing the issue with the codes? Please advise. Thanks.
Ranger
The bushings are not electrical and thus not monitored so they have no effect on the SES light. I am not sure if the wheels speed sensors will trip the SES light on the OBDI models, but if those are the only codes you have, then they must. You need to check the plug on the back side of the hub. If that is plugged in, then you need to replace the hub and bearing assembly.
