ABS/traction control

My 94 STS keeps on flashing traction disabled and the ABS light is on does anyone know how I can make this stop coming up or fix it if possible it's really bugging me alot.

You may have a bad or failing wheel bearing. There are sensor on the bearings and when the start going bad they register a difference with the good ones. In the case of my sons car it registered going 4 mph when the car was still.

Unfortunately the repair is expensive, about $250.00. This would be a cadillac part or a Timkin compatible. Do not use private labled Autozone or Advanced as they don't meet mfgr. specs and once installed they won't take them back.

You will probably get your best price at a Munro shop for the work and they guarantee it. That was my son's experience.

If you go there they will diagnose for free if they do the work.

Tryed the diagnostic coades remember Yenko you gave them to me and we tryed but it wouldn't do anything!

Simultaneously pressing and holding the OFF and WARMER buttons (or OFF and PASSENGER WARMER) won't enter diagnostics?

I think he is a little bit more aware of what he is doing then that. I am sure he already checked the codes. He is not 7 years old. (I dont think so anyways)

If the ABS light is illuminated and the "Traction Disabled" light is flashing, there has to be a code or codes stored......
