scottshoe
I am planning on removing my STS and Northstar emblems off of my rear deck-lid... anyone know if there are holes behind them or are they stick on only? I took some off my Mustang a few years back and there were holes! Had to buy a new emblem to put back on after I broke the original removing it! Any help would be appreciated! scottshoe
I have some high strength fishing line with hooks on the ends that I use to "saw" them off with outward pressure. I remove emblems, tags and stickers from everything I own! Hope the cops don't see my matresses and pillows!
Ranger
I think GM quit drilling holes for emblems years ago. They were just rust magnets. Emblems and molding are all put on with double sided tape now.
tomsts
I've removed these on both my '97's. Use a hair dryer and get them as warm as possible. On my wife's White Diamond you can see nothing. On my Black there is a slight ghosting where the STS logo was, but you can only see it in bright, direct sunlight. Also, I used GM adhesive solvent to clean up any residue. Good luck. Tom
