Hi everybody i am new here and i got to say that i already love your page and message board. I dont own a Cadillac but love them very much but own something closest to Cadillac which is a 2002 Oldsmobile Aurora 4.0 with little baby Northstar in it which i really like but wish it was 4.6. I hope nobody minds that i am here with Aurora but i find this message board and page very helpful since Seville and Aurora are so similar and they seem to have almost everythign same.

THank YOu

Welcome to the board. As you look at the various members, you'll see, many own other cars in addition to their caddys.

If you really want to make people safe drivers again then simply remove all the safety features from cars. No more seat belts, ABS brakes, traction control, air bags or stability control. No more anything. You'll see how quickly people will slow down and once again learn to drive like "normal" humans.

I have a question if in a future my engine broke down and i had to get another one will 4.6 be a direct replacement or are there any differenced between 4.6 and 4.0 besides the bore? I would really like to have those extra 50hp in my aurora.

I am not sure if it will physically fit but I am sure the PCM would be a bigger problem. I suspect the answer is no.

Now that I think about it I seem to recall Bbobynski say that the only difference is the bore so it might fit but I'd still bet there would be a problem with the PCM.
