msilva954
UGH...ive noticed it after the first week of installing, but I thought maybe it was my over enthusiastic driving in this car......well it seems to be getting worse and im noticing a "noticable" pull to the right........keep in mind it is the front left tire that is really wearing (top of sidewall).....almost tearing it seems.......now would a front end alignment help this???.......srry for stupid question but it is my first car. How much should I expect to pay??? Tires plus quoted $50 for a front end. Ive sorta decided it isnt my driving because the right tire looks brand new still. JasonA
Sounds like your camber might be way off, and it's wearing the outer sidewall. Either that or toe...which might explain the pull you're experiencing. Also, never underestimate the effect of improper tire inflation. I had a slow leak in the right rear tire for a long time. I kept it aired up until I was able to have it fixed. Regardless, it seemed to always be running in the 20-25 psi range, and car had a noticeable pull to the right (the tire was on the right rear). I really thought I needed an alignment. But after the tire was fixed, and I rotated the tires front to back, it drives straight as an arrow. It really does sound like your problem is in the alignment of that one wheel, but also check the inflation of all your tires, just for grins.
