jinxed45 Posted October 23, 2004 Report Share Posted October 23, 2004 I went to MAGIC MUFFLER down the street and asked for well known (on this board) Dynomax Super Turbos, the guy said they aren't really loud or throaty. And he suggested flowmasters 3 chamber (not sure what series). Total ended up being (with labor and tips) $492.71 USD. No thanks for that price. I figure I'd look for some online and have them weld em on.. the problem is: I don't know what the sizes/series/models/etc I would need. I don't want the tips sticking out, but not too far in. Just at the edge. I'm looking for FLOWMASTERS 3 Chambers I guess.. or if anyone has better suggestions; Definately want THROATY sound. Doesn't need to be too loud. Thanks! eldoman95 Posted October 23, 2004 Report Share Posted October 23, 2004 oh im the man to talk to. flowmaster 40 series for loud, 50 for mild.... check out my link. you need offset in center out. i did mine custome with extra pipeing because i got the muffs with 2.5" in and out. stock its 2.25". so if you trust the guys at your shop and they can handle it. get 2.5's, if not 2.25. no real performance differance just a minor change in pitch. im very satisfied with my 40 series. good luck.
