WarrenJ
Partially to alleviate boredom this afternoon (and prompted by another post) I made a list of the electrical relays available from RockAuto for my vehicle. Now I realize it won't be of great interest to non-Eldorado owners, but it occurred to me some folk might be interested in seeing, at a glance, how many (and which) relays are interchangeable in a "typical" not-so-late-model Cadillac. Interestingly, ACDELCO relays are very often less expensive than Standard Motor Products replacement relays. In those cases where RockAuto did not list a Standard Motor Products replacement, even though it would appear obvious one is available, I noted in the field "Not Listed." Cadillac Jim
Wow, only four distinct types, three if you account for the fact that the sunroof and its relay is a third-party part. -- Click Here for CaddyInfo page on "How To" Read Your OBD Codes-- Click Here for my personal page to download my OBD code list as an Excel file, plus other Cadillac data -- See my CaddyInfo car blogs: 2011 CTS-V, 1997 ETC Yes, I was Jims_97_ETC before I changed cars. JimD
Warren: Somewhere between your upload location and my ISP there are multiple hurdles to clear. Too many for me. But I'm interested in the data since relay standards do not change much from decade to decade. Could you/would you attach your spreadsheet here?? CIAO Jim Drive your car. Use your cell phone. CIAO JimD, I'm sorry to report CaddyInfo doesn't allow me to attach ".xls" files. I'll see that you get a copy though. There are some fields I left blank, but you'll find it very intuitive to complete them. Regards, Warren There is no means of avoiding the final collapse of a boom brought about by credit expansion.
