sumdumgai
Can someone please tell me if the automatic parking brake release on a '92 Seville is vacuum or electric (i.e., with fuse)? Thanks. Mine won't release when I out it in gear and I have to manually release it.
KHE
It is vacuum operated. There is a solenoid valve that controls the vacuum to the brake release. Check for a disconnected vacuum line at the solenoid. Kevin '93 Fleetwood Brougham '05 Deville '04 Deville 2013 Silverado Z71

shenKing
I replaced the whole parking brake pedal which included the vacuum solonoid and I think it was about 60 bucks from GM dealer. The job is pretty easy, but getting to it is a bit of a pain.
