BodybyFisher
First thing you should do is to check to see if any DTC codes have been set by the PCM. Either buy a code reader or go to a shop or parts store that will read the codes for you for free and post them here. Without those codes, we would be guessing. Is your check engine light one or are you getting any messages? Cadillac Jim
It sounds like the guy had an OBD code and was guessing from that. Get the codes and post them here and people who have fixed similar problems can help you out. -- Click Here for CaddyInfo page on "How To" Read Your OBD Codes-- Click Here for my personal page to download my OBD code list as an Excel file, plus other Cadillac data -- See my CaddyInfo car blogs: 2011 CTS-V, 1997 ETC Yes, I was Jims_97_ETC before I changed cars.
