Bob D
DynoMax SuperTurbo's, 2 1/2". The fit perfectly, and add a performance boost by freeing up a bit of backpressure without sacfricing sound quality. You'll end up with a nice mellow rumble at idle and cruising speed, with a real wake up call at WOT. You wont be sorry with these. '93 STS.. opened, dropped, wide...fast. I've had Flowmasters on that '93 STS, and IMO they were TOO loud. The Dynomax S/T's were a much better choice for me in that arena. '93 STS.. opened, dropped, wide...fast. eldoman95
see i love loud... so whatever your tast is you can choose.. then again flowmaster also has the 50 and 60 series muffs that arent as loud as my 40 series.
bigfoo
Flowmaster rules. I've used them for years. I'd go with a 50 series 'delta flow' flowmaster.. It won't be loud but will still grumble. The delta flows have built in resonators for tuning out most of the sound.. the non delta flows are much louder but make a much heftier growl too I think when I build my dual exhaust system i'll go with the 50 deltas so it's not horribly loud because i'm building custom headers and everything it would be twice as loud as it is now after i'm done

Do I have to change the Y pipe as well? Do they sell one (Y pipe) specifically for my year (93), or would I have to fabricate one? What is the part number for the mufflers? Is it 17731 or 17732? Thanks, Eric

EJPut
Thanks, I am going to do the work myself. I suspect then, I will have to have a 2.25 to 2.5 adapter to make it fit.
cadillac_caddy_sts
Hey those flowmaster 40 series do you have to buy any adapters or any hidden fee's in buying those or is it straight forward buying them taking them to a shop and getting them welded on? Ed Hall
I have DeltaFlow Flowmaster 50's on mine and they're very quiet. Hardly much difference from stock other than they sound much better.

Hey Yenko, Check out this post of mine if you haven't already. It was from a few weeks back and I have a couple of video clips with Dynomax sport mufflers on my Eldo. I believe the link is on the 2nd page of the post, on Kregr2's site... http://caddyinfo.ipbhost.com/index.php?showtopic=3006&hl= I can't say enought about the sound of these Super Turbos... Nice roar when you mash it, and settles to a mean rumble at idle. The 20" street models are a little more mild, but the 14" sports are probably more of what you are looking for in a performance muffler. Ton's of people have asked me what I have under the hood, and complimented me on the looks and sound of my exhaust. Here is a shot of the rear... '09 Cadillac CTS-4 3.6 direct injection, 128 K mi.
