The LFW makes 264 hp in most applications (264 hp [196.8 kW] @ 6950 rpm, 222 lb-ft [299.7 N-m] @ 5100 rpm) but TBD in the Cadillac line. Rainsense Wipers added to lux packages (automatically turn on when it rains) DTS discontinued SRX gets LFX 3.6L Engine, 300 hp standard My understanding is that the LFX engine is a re-engineering of the LLT 3.6L that made 304 hp with the stuff learned from doing the 3L engine. This engine makes 300 hp in the SRX, 318 hp in the CTS, and 323 hp in the Camaro. One might conclude that with a performance exhaust it can make 323 hp in the CTS. I am curious if GM ever planned a 4 cyl Northstar. - or at least a 4 cyl all aluminum engine. Of course it will have to have all the horses of todays 8cyl.
